Sydney Monorail - Loop Timelapse

This is a timelapse of the Sydney Monorail Loop which I edited together. Enjoy!

I got up early in the morning at around 7AM to go to the city to film this. I got there a few minutes after 8AM and being the second last day I thought the monorail station would be packed! It was actually empty. I had a small chat with the guy in the booth and he said there were 10 other people lining up when he opened the station.

So anyway the first monorail that came actually didn't move for a few minutes. And then I found out there was something wrong with one of the carriage doors so we had to get out and take another monorail.

Finally when the other monorail came I sat in the last carriage and I set my camera up on top of the dashboard facing out backwards and started filming the whole loop. I ended up reversing the video to make the monorail look like it was going forwards and I sped the video up.

The stations are essentially backwards because the video has been reversed, but it gives you a main idea of the loop and what it looks like.
