Whoever said you can’t enjoy the thrills of Marquez and Honda Repsol’s success in MotoGP must have forgotten that Honda’s well and truly capable of offering it without hesitation. The occasion also seems fit after the team once again dominated the 2014 season and with the new season coming closer and closer, the timing is right to bring the new Honda CBR1000RR Repsol Edition out from the shadows and into the spotlight.
The overall design of the Honda CBR1000RR SP Repsol Edition falls right in line with a standard version of the bike. What that means is you can expect to see a host of the bike’s notable styling traits, including the layered fairing bodywork that cuts a lean and mean appearance, especially when it’s getting down and dirty on the race track.

The bike also features a bubble-shaped windscreen that works hand-in-hand with a
rider’s seating position to keep his body away from potential wind resistance. Just in front of the rider is a full-screen LCD instrumentation that shows all the pertinent information any rider needs to keep track of his performance. These include a lap timer, a trip and fuel-consumption computer, a five-level customizable shift indicator, gear-position indicator, and peak-rpm memory function.

To keep the bike’s overall weight balanced, Honda also designed the CBR1000RR to have its fuel tank positioned in the center of the chassis, ensuring the kind of rider comfort that’s all-too important when riding superbikes that have the cache of of the CBR1000RR.

Having said all of that, what exactly makes the CBR10000RR Repsol Edition different from standard models of its kind? Take one look at it and you’ll immediately notice it.
