Learn how to replace the rear wheel bearings on a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 in this video from Partzilla.com. If you hear grinding, knocking, or a humming sound from your wheels when you’re out on the road, it may be time to make a change. Replacing the rear wheel bearings on a GSXR isn’t terribly difficult, but it’s hard to do without some special tools to get the bearings into the wheels. As for getting them out? We’ll show you two methods. Learn how to do the job with a bearing remover kit from Suzuki OR using a hammer and a metal rod.

We’ll start by removing the rear wheel, and then we’ll pull the worn bearings out using both the bearing remover tool and the metal rod. Then, see how to use a bearing press to get the new bearings into place. We’ll wrap up the job by getting the rear wheel back on the GSXR.
