As the winter chill deepens in Gauteng, many have opened their hearts to those less fortunate. The homeless are often hardest hit when temperatures plummet below zero. Today some homeless and informal settlement residents received blankets from a faith-based organisation.
Cold weather conditions are expected to persist for most of the week.
