Lake George, nicknamed the Queen of American Lakes, is a long, narrow oligotrophic lake located at the southeast base of the Adirondack Mountains, in the northeastern portion of the state of New York.
This video begins as I take a scenic drive on the Prospect Mountain Veteran's Memorial Parkway which provides several scenic overlooks of the lake and the town of Lake George. Next I take a drive through the town of Lake George making stops at the Old Courthouse and the only remaining Howard Johnson's Restaurant in the world.
