United has a super-elite frequent flyer status called Global Services. The invitation-only level of United's MileagePlus program is also reachable after flying four million miles with the airline. I had a chance to taste a bit of Global Services on the first part of a flight from LAX to ORD and then onto Edinburgh, Scotland.
