Maybe the most exciting wedding I've ever had the privilege of photographing, and that's in part due to not a single guest (including their families) knowing it was their wedding day 🤯

That's right.

As far as anyone knew, they were there to celebrate Daniel and Janay's engagement, but as their close friends and family ate delicious icecream & hot chips and popped some Prosecco, @getmarriedwithpip pulled the curtain down and announced to them that, no, this wasn't an engagement party, but in fact a ceremony.
Daniel and Janay entered the vibey Kenny Lover Icecream to surprised faces, plenty of happy tears and a bustling excitement you wouldn't believe. They said "I Do", ate celebratory Ice cream cones and then shocked the rest of their guests over at Welcome to Thornbury later that evening as the incredible energy and amazing vibes kept on kicking.

What an amazing day to be a part of and it's unique and totally personal weddings like this that really make this work feel special. I'm so stoked I got to see the surprise unfold first hand (and thank you for trusting me not to give it away somehow guys 😅).

Here's to endless days of ice cream and hot chips you two, you deserve it 🧡
