The Multiplication instruction in 8086 microprocessor and it gives example of MUL instruction in assembly language program in emu8086 environment. Result for mul instruction The MUL instruction multiplies an 8-bit, 16-bit operand by either AL, AX. The single operand is the multiplier. There are two instructions for multiplying binary data. The MUL instruction handles unsigned data. This instructions affect the Carry and Overflow flag. Multiplicand will be in an accumulator, depending upon the size of the multiplicand and the multiplier and the generated product is also stored in two registers depending upon the size of the operands.

LOOP instruction for 8086 assembly language in emu8086. This instruction is used to perform the iteration of certain process to perform the looping mechanism in 8086 assembly language. The Loop instructions use the CX register to count loop. The Loop instruction decrements CX without changing any flags If CX is not zero after the decrement, control is transferred to the destination label
