The flash flooding in Waverly was likely made significantly worse by a failure of the railroad along Hwy 70 near Trace Creek. Pictures show the flooding was rather ordinary flash flooding at 7:28 and minutes after the railroad which acted like a levee failed the flooding became violent. Overhead drone shots show where the railroad failed creating a dam break like situation ripping up hwy 70 and destroying anything else in it's path. Drone shots of the railroad and damage.
