Warehouse Loading Basics - What You Need to Know

Описание: In this video I'll break down vehicle access, loading doors, and yard management as it relates to warehouses. I also talk about two awesome (and free!) tools which you can start using today.

Whether you are a broker, investor, advisor, or just curious about industrial real estate, this is one of the most important topics to study.

Warehouses, at a very basic level, are industrial buildings where products are stored. Other names you might here are distribution centers or fulfillment centers, but the premise is that various types of products are held from anywhere ranging from a few hours to several years.

But before we can address what happens inside the buildings, we first need to discuss the importance of how vehicles get to the building, followed by how things get inside.

The two tools I talk abut are are Google Earth Studio and the measure tool in Google Maps. As mentioned in the video, here is a great tutorial to learn more about Google Earth Studio:
