Campsite Review

1. Name of place: YUNKAI Campsite (Private campsite, by booking only)
2. Campsite fee: RM50 adult per pax, RM20 children per pax included 200g organic vegetables. 4X4 fetch in & out.
3. Tent: Bring your own tent.

8. Open daily.

Review:
 Toilet 4/5: (Clean), Located at right hand side entrance & left-hand side (below next to multipurpose hall)
 Plug point 5/5: at multipurpose hall only.
 Kitchen and sink 5/5: Sink located at both side of the toilet. Washer included; dustbin located at left side above container truck.
 Fire pit 5/5: Designated firepit only, if you wish to have your own campfire, bring your fire stove.
 River Stream 0/5: None.
 Parking 5/5: Plenty. If you own a 4X4 vehicle, can drive straight up to campsite, if you are driving a sedan, park your car at blue cabin area, encourage use their 4X4 service to pick you up from parking area located near the blue big cabin.
 Forest feels 1/5: campsite pretty empty, no trees. Make sure bring your flysheet because afternoon is very hot.
 Parking distance to campsite : Around 20 steps, at level 3.
 Type of car to enter : 4X4 (can), lorry (can), sedan(don’t encourage), modify lower car (no)
 Compatible with campervan: Yes, but going to be a bumpy ride.
 Phone signal Coverage : 3-4 bars, For Maxis.
 Security/safety : private gated.
 Rubbish disposal : Proper rubbish bins located near the sink area. Please dispose properly.
 Upon arrival & departure:
PIC will arrange to pick up and show you your campground. During checkout they will also arrange send off. Welcome & friendly staff.
 Animal farm : No animal farm but vegetables farm.

Overall point of views:
This is a very well maintained and clean campsite.
Very friendly management. Gave us souvenirs from their plantation.
There are 3 levels, best view is at Level 2. Level 1 for big group & can enjoy privacy.
Toilets look new with Balinese design, well maintained and clean.
No mosquitoes at camp site but some friendly dogs.
Pack things nicely for easy load and unload if you are hopping on owner’s truck.
Campsite is pack during holidays, with tents pretty near to each other.
Overall moderate experience, nice cooling weather & great mountain view. Didn’t get to enjoy much due to loud noises.
