CHARLOTTE LUKS
From Corporate Personhood to Corporate Humanity
Corporate personhood: it's not just for fundraising anymore, but instead has significant potential in corporate culpability for human rights.
Charlotte Luks is a student at Hampshire College (F09) studying human rights law. She is from Belgium via Rhode Island. Charlotte is currently working on a Division III concerning human rights issues within contemporary European migration law. She originally began doing research about corporate culpability for human rights violations under Prof. Dr. Geert van Calster at the KU Leuven in Belgium, work that was compounded by later work for Greenpeace Belgium.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
