Amid heavy selling over the past two years, FPI ownership in National Stock Exchange of India-listed firms has dropped to a 15.5-year low of 16.7%, while domestic mutual funds rose to a record 11.1%. Despite ₹74,031 crore FPI outflows in FY26, recent sessions show selective buying. Analysts believe rising domestic participation through SIPs is strengthening market resilience, reducing reliance on foreign flows, and supporting long-term stability in Indian equities.
पिछले दो वर्षों की भारी बिकवाली के बीच National Stock Exchange of India में FPIs की हिस्सेदारी घटकर 16.7% के 15.5 साल के निचले स्तर पर आ गई, जबकि घरेलू म्यूचुअल फंड्स 11.1% के रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुंच गए। ₹74,031 करोड़ की FY26 बिकवाली के बावजूद हाल में आंशिक खरीद दिखी। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि घरेलू निवेशकों की बढ़ती भागीदारी बाजार को अधिक स्थिर और आत्मनिर्भर बना रही है।
