Rufford Ford Parish Council have let Reform Councillor James Gamble know their stance.
This then promted Reform Councillor James Gamble to visit Rufford ford and he then asked why is this closed with 3” of water when it’s affecting the other villages.

Rufford Ford may re open thanks to the new Reform Councillor James Gamble.
It is still on a temporary closure but that could be set to change after he has visited the ford and spoken to local businesses and listened to those affected by its closure in the surrounding villages.

Now Rufford Mill waterways have been cleaned out does this give more options for Rufford Ford to re open?
There are so many options that can now be put forward to and listened to for reopening it.
Would the crowds have eventually left as the weather turned cold? Would they have returned the following year?
