Let's create a few simple fresh flower centerpieces with long lasting alstroemeria and daisies. We've added a touch of whimsy with penny cress. Creating a few smaller arrangements gifts you more flexibility on your Thanksgiving table.
Alstroemeria is a symbol of wealth, prosperity and good fortune. Also known as the Peruvian Lily. Peru, Brazil and Chile were the first growers of this flower. We love their long lasting blooms and the many colors they come in.
These chrysanthemums are not your boring variety. These are known as Coral Sunrise Tequila and they are stunning. We are using Penny Cress as an accent flower. The Illinois native flower also dries beautifully.
Ready to design? Cut stems cleanly and crisply, and then place immediately into water. Remove all foliage below the water line and place in a clean container filled with cool water and floral food. Change the water and re-cut the stems every few days and add more flower food.
