Parents urged to know the difference between e-bikes and e-motorcycles

Описание: With the holiday shopping season in full swing, the City of Henderson Police Department is sending an urgent message to parents about the misconceptions surrounding e-bikes.

E-bikes are often looked at as toys, but the reality is, these are a safety risk for both children and the drivers on our roads. It’s critical that parents know what they are buying and how to safely operate it to avoid serious injuries.

So far in 2025, HPD has responded to more than 40 crashes involving e-bikes. In all of 2024, that number was 25, including two fatal crashes.
