This webinar, led by Ken Vereschagin, MD, introduced high school students to the growing field of lifestyle medicine, which is an evidence-based approach that empowers people to prevent, manage, and even reverse chronic disease through healthy habits. The webinar also highlighted practical ways students can:
1) Start a student-led Teen Lifestyle Medicine club at their school.
2) Launch student-led Teen Lifestyle Medicine community programs that promote health and wellness in their communities.
3) Connect with physicians and Stanford Medicine faculty.
Ultimately, this webinar provided high school students across the U.S. with guidance, resources, and inspiration to take initiative in health leadership on campus and in the broader community.
