The Queen Mother of Bhutan, Her Majesty Gyalyum Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, has arrived at the Bodoland University in Kokrajhar to receive the Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Award
The Queen Mother will be conferred the 22nd Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma “Soldier of Humanity” Award (2025).
Instituted in memory of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma, the award carries a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh, a citation, and a memento.
Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya will attend the ceremony as Chief Guest, while BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary will be present as Special Guest. Several dignitaries are expected to attend.
