A jokja is a traditional Korean scroll used to display paintings or calligraphy. The top rod allows it to be hung on a wall, and the bottom rod provides weight so the scroll hangs straight. Historically, jokja were used for displaying artwork, poetry, or scholarly writings in homes, temples, and palaces. Once your drawing is done, hang the painting up on the wall or over the door.
