Bolivian Air Force Plane Carrying Cash Crashes in Bad Weather, Kills 15, Injures 30 in El Alto

The cargo plane struck several vehicles, causing massive damage and scattering currency across the crash site.
Social media videos showed crowds attempting to collect scattered banknotes as authorities used water hoses to disperse them. The aircraft was transporting cash from Bolivia's Central Bank to other cities when it went down shortly after takeoff.
El Alto International Airport was temporarily shut down following the deadly incident. Debris, destroyed vehicles, and bodies littered the highway as firefighters worked to extinguish flames. Bolivia's Central Bank is expected to brief the media on the incident.
