Dark Worlds Vlippoo Quartet

Описание: In this patch I expand my prior Dark Worlds Collide patch with additional Vlippoo Boxes for VCV Rack. The Blippoo Box hardware has been replaced with one additional Vlipoo Box, configured the same as the original Vlippoo, but pitched lower. The remaining two new Vlippoo Boxes provide a bass line and a high pitched "lead" voice. These latter instances utilize a technique that I don't think is available to the hardware - self oscillation via patching the main audio output to the external audio input. The self oscillation is asymmetric. Only one peak (filter) within the Twin Peaks resonator self oscillates. The other peak simply pings. This is due to the way the Resonator works - it subtracts one low pass filter output from the other to create a band pass output with resonant peaks at either edge. But the peaks are 180 degrees out of phase. If I invert the audio output before feeding it back, then the peaks switch places as to which self oscillates and which pings. I haven't been able to make my physical Blippoo Box self oscillate like this.

This auto-generative patch has been recorded without any post processing. The only effect added to the raw Vlippoo Box sounds is the Plateau reverb that you see in the patch, and that is at a low level.

The Vlippoo Box is part of my Venom Chaos Boxes commercial plugin for VCV Rack that I hope to release by the end of this month of March 2026.
