Watch the full digital art timelapse as I paint lining, lighting, shading, color masks, and atmosphere in Krita. The final video is edited in DaVinci Resolve.
This illustration is part of my original fantasy comic series Tales of Nandoras: The Queen of Nothing and features a siren and an elf warrior fighting against a leviathan seamonster.

Content Description:

Enough.

With an angry roar, the Leviathan strikes at Isil and hits him squarely.
Something breaks with a loud crack, Isil has the air driven from his lungs, and the force hurls the elf across the boat.
The pain forces tears into his eyes, then he hits the water, though not far from his boat. Gasping, he manages to grab hold of the hull and clings to it.

When Isil disappears from its field of view on the other side, the leviathan turns its attention back to the siren.
