Roger Williams defeats Curry 3-2 in a thriller on Halloween night in Rhode Island.
RWU quickly took a 2-0 lead within 10 minutes of action before Curry' Adam Pforr was able to cut the lead to 2-1 with a nice one hitter on goal.
RWU led at the half 3-1 after a late foul gave RWU a penalty kick from the spot, which was successfully scored.
Early in the second half, Curry's Lucas Drons was able to cut the lead to 3-2, but that was the last of the scoring. The final 40 minutes of action saw Curry gain many chances to score, with multiple shots, throw-ins, and corners, even with the final 10 seconds of the match resulting in a save by RWU on a header from the corner that could have tied the game for Curry.
Roger Williams travels to Western New England Saturday to battle for the CCC Championship, in a match that will showcase the top two seeds in the conference.
Curry ends their impressive campaign, and will look to next season to improve what was a great year.
