Описание: In this interview, Jayaram Venkatesan, coordinator of the Arappor Iyakkam, discusses the background to the corruption allegations against former DMK ministers E.V. Velu and K.N. Nehru, as well as the searches conducted by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

He argues that what is described as party funding is, in reality, money allegedly siphoned from the state treasury. He also lists what he describes as large-scale irregularities, including cases where records allegedly showed roads as having been constructed even though they were not, enabling the misappropriation of crores of rupees in public funds.
