A lucky bloke admits he has 'learned his lesson' after barely escaping a shark's jaws when it tried to bite a chunk out of his jet ski - because he'd been 'annoying' the giant predator by chasing it.
Rick Manning was halfway around North Stradbroke Island, Australia, on June 12 when he spotted a bait ball in the shallow waters and decided to check it out.
The 36-year-old geo tech was soon joined by a hungry predator - believed to be a tiger shark - which was the same length as his three-metre-long Sea-Doo 300.
