Filmmaker Ami Horowitz says US college protestors "look like idiots, because they are idiots," requesting sunscreen and zip ties while taking over a Columbia University campus building.
Students protesting the Israel-Hamas war in Columbia University last week put out a request for ‘humanitarian aid’ while taking over Hamilton Hall.
“I don’t think they realise there are a parody of themselves,” Mr Horowitz told Sky News Australia.
“This is what Saturday Night Live would concoct if they are trying to create some kind of self-parody of what these people are doing.
“Lack of self-awareness is incredible, and yeah they fell right into their trap – they look like a bunch of idiots because they are a bunch of idiots.”
