An EMD SD60F "Cowl" engine is in the lead of a Canadian National M338 train as it pulls around a curve into the bright, morning sunlight on the Freeport subdivision. An interesting horn resonation, too. The train would meet the westbound M337 train at Colvin Park. Trailing unit was another SD60F, CN 5557. And then IC 9601, a GP38-2.
Heard this via an online scanner feed as it was approaching Freeport. Chatter indicated that it had some work there so I had the time to get out to this location. About an hour from home. Unusual to see an M338 train at a decent speed through here.
