In 1975 Princess Anne visited the Reliant Motor Company at Tamworth. This superb cine film footage is from 15th July 1975 and lasts about 28 minutes! Princess Anne arrives at Reliant (Two Gates) in her own Reliant Scimitar GTE and is greated by the managing director Ray Wiggin and his wife. HRH then goes for a reception in the canteen where she meets the Mayor and Mayoress of Tamworth and the Chief Constable of Staffordshire. The Princess is then taken on a tour of the Reliant premises at Two Gates, Kettlebrook and shenstone.
The music and dubbing is a little off-putting, but I am sure you will enjoy the historical content!!
