You Colour My Life | Hip Kit Club | Exclusive Cut Files

I started by cutting the Build a Flower cut file from the striped Pinkfresh Studio paper. Each flower has 3 layers and I arranged three of each layer in each coloured stripe, meaning I had three complete flowers from each colour on the paper. This used up an entire sheet of that fabulous paper and I’m so pleased I managed to measure it correctly and get the flowers to cut within the lines! I then spent some time assembling my flowers by curling each one, sticking them together and adding an enamel dot in the middle.
I took a second sheet of that fabulous striped paper, cut a large section and then cut apart all the stripes. I distressed the edges and added them onto a sheet of white card, over on the left side. I added machine stitching to the stripes.
I then arranged my photo and all those beautiful flowers onto the layout, colour on colour style. I also added the words YOU COLOUR MY LIFE from the You Color cut file. These were cut in white and added to the coloured stripes, raised on foam pads for added dimension.
I added a few fussy cut butterflies from Paige Evans Wonders paper and a number of small labels and stickers from the Pinkfresh Studio Keeping it Real collection. I finished with some gold thread twiddles and some splatters of pink paint.
