There is nothing better than gathering your own fresh eggs every day from your own flock of chickens.
When storing your fresh eggs, if they haven't been refrigerated, you can keep them on your counter at room temperature in a open basket or egg holder.
Try not to wash the eggs if they are clean to avoid removing the natural protective barrier.
If the egg has a smudge of dirt or poop, gently wipe that spot only to get it clean.
Displaying your eggs creates quite the conversation for family and visitors.
You can refrigerate them ,however, eggs are porous and will take on the flavor of items in your refrigerator. Thus losing that farm fresh taste.
