CITH Workshop: Sonifying Space - Sonification and Immersive Audio in Max/MSP
Presenter: Monica Bolles
Duration: Part I 1:08:27
This workshop introduces a workflow for sonifying solar storm data using Max/MSP. Participants will work with a NASA dataset to map data values to sound parameters and use the IRCAM Spat toolkit to spatialize the resulting audio in virtual space. The session covers basic data parsing, sonification strategies, and spatialization techniques. Some familiarity with Max/MSP is recommended.
Tools and Technologies Covered in this Workshop
• Max MSP
• Touch OSC
• Data Sonification
• Spatial Audio
