Honolulu is the capital of the Hawaiian State of the United States of America. It is also the biggest city of the Hawaiian Islands. Honolulu has approximately 400,000 citizens. That's about one third of the total population of the Hawaiian Islands. Honolulu is located on the island of Oahu which is the third biggest vulcanic island of the archipelago. Honolulu is famous for its sandy beaches, in particular Waikiki beach for surfers. Also Pearl Harbour and Diamond Head are popular destinations in Honolulu.
