Today I'm skateboarding.
More specifically- I am surf skating. I'm using a "surf skate" board which is completely fun on its own (I just love riding it) but it's also used as a surf training tool while you are on land.
I'm doing this all using my prosthetic surf leg. 🛹🌊
This isn’t an educational video for amputees—it’s more of a look inside what it’s like as an amputee learning how to skateboard. I'm using a surfskate board to help mimic carving like I would in the water.
At [1:00], I show a side-by-side shot of me dropping into a skate ramp and wake surfing—same pose, same body position. That’s why I use my Fillauer All Pro Sport foot for skating too. It keeps my body aligned for both sports.
This journey is raw. I’m not good yet... but I’m going to be.
