I picked up a vintage Gazelle parts bicycle to fix my uncle's old ride. The bike was still usable when I got it, but there is a problem with the shifter mechanism. And before the cable broke it was fixed in second gear. After the cable broke it shifted into third. So I assume the rear hub is still good, and it should be usable to fix the old Gazelle bike I got from my late uncle.
But more about that later. In this video I try to disassemble the old cloth chain guard that I plan to use on my Union bicycle . Hopefully I can get it removed without any damage :)
