WASH & STYLE OVERVIEW:

In this wash and style video I used products from the @CURLSMITH Strength collection and the Curlsmith Scalp collection and it was definitely an experience. Curlsmith is a clean beauty brand and the products I used focus on strengthening the hair, length retention, moisture, hair growth and scalp care. I prepooed with the bond curl rehab salve, shampooed with the core strength shampoo, deep conditioned with the multi-tasking conditioner, moisturized with the weightless air dry cream and then styled with the hydro style flexi jelly (which was a dope twist out combination!)

The Bond Salve always puts my curls in check but this time around I left it in for WAY too much time. Watch until the end to see what that did to my medium to low porosity hair. In general, to avoid protein overload just make sure you are following the directions on your products to make sure you aren't over processing your hair. Protein overload can make your hair super dry and stiff and that can lead to breakage over time. One way to help avoid it is to follow up your strengthening treatments with a moisturizing deep conditioner, a really moisturizing leave in or just make sure your next wash day is full of moisture.

Overall this was a dope wash day, made some mistakes and recovered and loved my results! Let me know if there are any other Curlsmith products you want me to review!
