Why Didn’t Governments Publicise About ‘Rare Effects’ of Covishield Vaccine?

Описание: All around us we are hearing about Covishield and its ‘rare side-effects’. This has caused worry among the people. This comes after the British pharmaceutical company AstraZenecca, which manufactured the vaccine, accepted in court that their vaccine can cause rare side effects. TTS is a condition where blood is clotted along with a low platelet count. This can sometimes lead to serious injury or death. All we are hearing are the risks which covishield potentially has. However, the occurrence of TTS in the body for people who took Covishield is ‘rare’.The Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety, by analysing the data from the UK and the European Union has said that ‘risk was low’. This committee consisted of independent vaccine and other domain experts. The data from the United Kingdom says that the risk is approximately 4 cases per million adults who received the Covishield vaccine. There are several other studies that look closely into TTS caused by the AstraZeneca vaccine. There is a study conducted on the AstraZeneca Global Safety Database in 2022. The study had found that the rate of this effect to be 7.5 per million vaccinated people. An assessment says it may develop within four to 42 days of administration of the vaccine. This assessment has found that TTS can develop within a short stretch of time, and not years after vaccination.
