The Magnetic poles and Geographical poles are two different things.
These lines do not align.
Because they arise from different mechanisms.
The Geographical poles are the points from which the earth's axis passes.
The Earth rotates around this axis.
Also, our earth behaves like a magnet.
Inside the earth, the iron is in a molten state.
This produces a current which in turn generates magnetic field lines.
The magnetic poles are changing continuously.
Currently, the North magnetic pole is in Ellesmere Island in Northern Canada.
