At a hospital a nurse switches two baby girls at birth because their last names are similar. The rich family gets the poor girl; the poor family gets the rich girl. After 15 years the truth is revealed.
A story about difficult choices, tough decisions, entwined lives, and parents torn between their children and their hearts. Gulseren comes from a poor background, while Cihan's wife Dilara is wealthy. They both gave birth in the same hospital on the same day 15 years ago but a mistake was made that would change their destinies. An absent-minded nurse mixed up the babies, and since the surnames were similar, nobody noticed. As the truth about the girls is revealed, fundamental problems arise between the two families because of their totally different lifestyles and economic statuses. However, these events bring Cihan and Gulseren closer together and they have inexplicable feelings towards each other that they cannot ignore or escape..

Paramparça (Broken Pieces) concluded with Season 3, which ends with the assassination of Damir by Cihan after an attempt by Dilara, and culminates in Cihan and Dilara's wedding. While not a traditional cliffhanger, this ending resolves the central conflict and establishes a new future for the main characters within the soap opera's dramatic framework, which often focuses on family issues, social class clashes, and complicated relationships.
