This winter, celebrate with a natural design for your amaryllis, using forest finds and keeping it simple but beautiful. We've paired this amaryllis with a Bergs Potter pot, but you can use your favourite container. Something in a natural tone, such as terra cotta or clay, really connects to the winter garden in this design.
We start by half-filling the pot with potting soil, then placing the amaryllis bulb and surrounding it with a bit more soil to keep it in place. Then we use moss around our bulb and add in dried curly willow stems for height and interest.
You can create this look using other winter bulbs such as paperwhites or hyacinth. Take a walk in your winter garden, or on a trail, to find a bit of moss, long stems, pinecones and other natural accents for your own design!
