This episode is about the BJP and TMC, led by Narendra Modi and Mamata Banerjee, are known for their corruption and deception of ordinary citizens. They have turned quid pro quo into a sophisticated art form, with electoral bonds opening the Pandora's Box and revealing details of quid pro quo and coercion. In 2013, the people of West Bengal woke up to the gargantuan chit fund scam, which resulted in the loss of thousands of crores of rupees. The scamsters, mostly among the poorest daily wage earners of the villages of Bengal, benefited from the scam and became multi-millionaires. The TMC government and Mamata Banerjee have been hiding the alleged embezzlement of public money. The Narada sting operation, which exposed the alleged money-taking of prominent TMC leaders, revealed the infamous Kalighater Kaku, the nephew of Chief Minister Abhishek Banerjee, and another close aide, Karan Sharma. The investigation into the corruption within these parties is ongoing.
