Dr. V. P. Gangadharan is an Indian oncologist, known for his support to poor and needy cancer patients by providing them with subsidized medicines and free counselling through Cochin Cancer Society. He was the former Head of the Department at Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. Currently he is the head of the Oncology Department at Kochi`s lakeshore Hospital.
In this conversation we talk about the patients he has treated, the experiences he has had so far, the childhood that shaped him and the life lessons he has learnt as a doctor. He talks about cancer treatment and prevention. This episode also spreads awareness about cancer care. he talks about cancers that are easily preventable and that can be cured.
