[TAT-made] Emerson 56" Industrial/Commercial ceiling fan in white, shown on a generic 4 speed slider control. One of the loudest ceiling fans I own has returned! The original video is also up there among the most-viewed on the channel, another that I never understood the view count on. It actually wasn't quite as loud as I remembered it being. Maybe something with the acoustics of this new space or the different wall control, or maybe my memory is wrong, but usually the fans are louder here rather than quieter. I will reiterate, there is no bearing noise etc., it's all MOTOR HUM. Rather unfortunate, since the fan itself performs pretty well and moves good air. This is a kind of middle generation TAT product, so it takes forever for the smaller motor to reach full high speed with the super heavy blades. The earlier, slightly larger motors handled the blades a little bit better. Also worth noting, these fans were recalled for risk of the motor separating and falling. I've inspected mine and have very little concern over it, but it's something everyone should be aware of.
