Описание: When traveling in Playa Tamarindo, Costa Rica, one way to have a very positive impact on the community is to eat at locally-owned, family-run businesses like Soda Marcela, located on the plaza in Villareal, Guanacaste Costa Rica.

Very often, you'll find that you can eat enormous plates of delicious local food - usually "casados" and in Guanacaste, a good deal of seafood - for a much lower price that the downtown areas of tourism hubs like Tamarindo.

Obviously, you will pay more to eat if you eat in an absolutely prime location like Tamarindo. The food at "Sodas" like Marcela's in Villareal is well-balanced, fresh and frankly, I'd rather eat it any day over some of the greasier stuff available at the beach.
