Jr Spec Late Model Debut Season Opener at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway Went Well

Описание: This was my best race yet in the Jr Spec Late Model. Started the day off strong in practice by setting quick time. Then for qualifying we qualified P.2 which was awesome. Going into the race we were chasing the leader the whole time. Then going into turn 3 with 2 laps to go we over drove it and spun. But since the leader and I lapped everyone else, I started 2nd on the restart. It was a green white checkered so I had a good chance on making something happen. Going into turn one I got right on the bumper but didn't want to wreck the leader so I backed out. Going into turn 3 I tried to make something happen on the outside but there was no speed up there. This costed a lot of speed and at this point there was no catching the leader. Came home P.2 which was a solid night. We learned a lot this weekend and can't wait to build on it on April 19th. I also have to give a big thanks to Bob Bruncati and the Sunrise Racing crew for making this possible.
