Just a few days ago, I got surgery on my sinuses (septoplasty + balloon sinuplasty + turbinate resection). This is a vlog about my surgery experience.
A couple months ago, I had a moment when I looked back on life and realized that I haven't been able to do the things that I love or live my daily lifestyle because of my frequent sinus infections. I tried everything... anti-biotics (every month), nasal steroids, netipot, allergy medication, decongestants, hot steamed showers, humidifiers, pain relievers... you name it, I've tried it! It was affecting my sleep, social life, ability to work efficiently, overall health and fitness, energy, everything.
When I was a teenager, I thought feeling like this was "normal," but as I got older and more advanced in my career, I said it's time to make a change.
I'm excited to be fully recovered in the next couple weeks and to start living life again! Can't wait to update you on my progress in the next couple of weeks.
