The Youth Academy of Virginia had a joint iftaar with the Chantilly Baptist Church on Ox Hill Road. The iftaar was a beautiful experience as the guests from both sides shared meals, smiles, and their traditions. The event started with food distribution - the call to prayer was recited as the guests broke their fasts. The rest of the evening ensued with a presentation about Ramadan, a heartwarming welcoming speech by Pastor Jeff, some exciting Kahoot games and raffles. A water marbling artist also joined and performed her art.
