A song inspired by Lord of the Flies — not just the book or the movie, but the feeling behind it.
This track started as a possible cover of Iron Maiden’s Lord of the Flies requested by @DanElser , but it quickly turned into something else: a reflection of what happens when you’re young, lost, emotional, and trying to figure out who you are in a world that doesn’t really make sense.
Lord of the Flies isn’t about monsters on an island.
It’s about the monster inside us — the part that comes out when there are no rules, no filters, and no one telling us who we’re supposed to be.
This song and the monologue after it are about that space:
the chaos, the freedom, the fear, and the strange beauty of growing up a little broken, a little wild, and very human.
This is iRL4ND.
A sketchbook of sounds, feelings, and things we don’t always say out loud.
