As an active member of his profession, he not only sees more than 50 patients a day in his practice, but also participates in many professional organizations. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Research Society, and the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA). Dr. Sinha is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and serves on the board of directors of ISTA and the Foundation for the Advancement of Research in Medicine (FARM).

Dr. Sinha earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, then interned at Department of Surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA. Upon completing his residency at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University, he concurrently completed a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology at the Thomas Jefferson University College of Graduate Studies. His studies prepared him to not only be a great surgeon, but also a researcher, educator, and lecturer in orthopedics.
Before developing his practice in the desert, Dr. Sinha was the Director of the Orthopaedic Curriculum of the Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), the Co-Director of the Ferguson Laboratory and an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery within the Division of Adult Reconstructive Surgery at UPMC. He still enjoys participating in educating the next generation of surgeons, so he is involved in organizing and speaking at educational conferences.
Once in the Coachella Valley, he has served at prominent hospitals that included John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA, the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, and John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA. He has been in his current practice since 2008.
His goal is an orthopedic surgeon is to rehabilitate people with limited mobility to improve their quality of life. His career as a leading hip and knee replacement surgeon earned him recognition by the Arthritis Foundation for being among the first surgeons in the world and the first in the Coachella Valley to perform robotic-assisted partial knee replacement surgery.
