Two tunes on this amazing sounding High Pitch (A452.4) Ebonite Rockstro's Model flute made in 1908, trying to explore it's sound and dynamic range after partial overhaul. I'm not all that fluent with the open G# fingering, nor with using the Rockstro F# key (which I tried to as much as possible), so there are some fingering mistakes in these by no means perfect renditions.
The tunes are:
1. Niel Gow's Lament For His Second Wife (slow air - Niel Gow, Scotland)

Fiddlers usually play this in D major, going down to a low A. For flute-practical reasons I play it here in A major.
2. Helvic Head (jig - traditional, Ireland)
