Converted Riverboat Hotels! (Day Labor Housing in Dhaka)

Описание: Months ago, I stumbled across an article online about a group of boats in Dhaka that had been converted to inexpensive hotels. Stuff like that fascinates me, and I kept my eyes open for these boats on my many trips to the Buriganga River. Then, on a day when I wasn't expecting it at all, I found them.

A friendly man was standing nearby, and he escorted me onto one of the boats and I got a short tour. The boat hotels were as basic as I expected, but they were also much cleaner than I thought and much better organized.

It was an interesting experience. My camera acted up on me again, and it didn't record much of my tour of the boat, but I caught some of it, and I hope you enjoy the video
